Biography
Prophetess Felicia Patterson is a native of Champaign-Urbana Illinois. Prophetess Patterson has been in the church since the early age of five years old and at the tender age of thirteen she receives salvation with the gift of the Holy Ghost during a Friday night revival. In August 1993 God called her to the prophetic evangelistic ministry under the late Apostle Charles McMullen, Greater Jerusalem Apostolic Church where she received her missionary credentials in March 1995. She worked faithfully as the Youth Choir Director, Youth and Adult Sunday School teacher. She worked diligently in the missionary department as an Inspired Missionary under the tutelage of Prophetess Dorothy McBride, Philadelphia, PA.
As Prophetess Patterson continued her growth in the Lord, she relocated to Aurora, IL under the leadership of the late Bishop William Haven Bonner, Mt Olive COGIC. She received her credentials as a Missionary in the COGIC in 2000 under the leadership of State Supervisor Mother Angie Dell Cullins. She has worked as a faithful servant as a Sunday School teacher, Children Choir Director, YPWW, Nurse Guild and several more for the up building of God’s church.
Prophetess Patterson served faithfully in the ministerial staff at Gethsemane Park Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Michael Newman for many years. Under Bishop Newmans leadership she received her missionary credentials through the PAW. She currently works as a Program/Property Manager as she completes her degree in religious studies with a minor Human Development. She continues to work in ministry along with her husband of twenty-five years Apostle Ray Patterson at Effective Word Church.
